Morning prayer is very important because it allows you to start your day focused on what you need to accomplish and it's always important to give praise and thanks for everything you have in your life.
Note: It is very important to pray as a family in the morning. I know that in our modern fast paced western society it is often difficult to gather everyone together but as Ifa/Orisa worshippers and especially priests, we must start becoming more disciplined and make the time for the family to pray together every morning.
Morning Prayer
1. Greet and give Reverance to Olodumare, Ori, Irunmole, Orisa, Egungun, etc...

Iba Iya (Your Mother)
Iba Baba (Your Father)
Iba Irunmmole
Iba Orisa
Iba Egungun
Iba Oluwo
Iba Ojugbona
Iba Baba Ifa
Iba Araba (If you have an Araba of your town/area)
Iba Akoda (If you have an Akoda of your town/area)
Iba Aseda (If you have an Aseda of your town/area)
Iba Araba Agbaye ni Ile Ife
Iba Oluwo Aye
Iba Araba Aye
Iba Akoda Aye
Iba Aseda Aye
Iba Ojugbona Aye
Iba Babalawo Aye
Iba Olorisa Aye
etc....(After giving praise to all the priests, you will give praise to all the important people in your life: Teachers, Friends, Family Members, Mentors, etc...)
Then you will say:
Ibase Ibase Ibase O: May it come to pass, May it come to pass, May it come to pass, with the blessings of Olodumare.
The order in which you do the Mojuba/Iba is based on the order of importance of the deities and people. If you noticed I placed ones mother and father before the Irunmole, Orisa, and Egungun.
As told to me ones mother and father are more important than the Irunmole, Orisa, and Egungun because without your parents being together, you would not even be here in the world. Also, ones mother should be given reverence first before ones father because mothers are considered more spiritual then fathers. (She's the one that gave birth to you, not your dad)
2. Thank Olodumare and all the divinities for everything that you have in your life. Thank them for your life, health, good spouse, good children, good parents, good home, for the food you have to eat, etc...
3. Ask that you be forgiven for: things you've purposely done to others and things you've done without being conscious of their effects on others. Also ask for the forgiveness of those who have hurt you or your loved ones and those ancestors who have done terrible things from which you now may be paying the price for.
4. Ask for all the Ajogun (Obstacles/Challenges) that may be around you to be warded off and then ask for the things that you or others may need like: A good home, good spouse, good children, good job, better health, etc...
5. (Awos) End your morning prayer by chanting or reciting atleast two stanzas from the odu Osetura. Osetura is the messenger of all prayers, this is why it's important to chant or recite some stanzas from this odu at the end of your morning prayers. All others who are not Awos should just give homage to Esu at the end of their morning prayers and ask that Esu deliver all their prayers.
